I’m a 29 year old (and totally holding) lady who loves to make and bake and take pictures of her making and baking. I am also a recovering realty-tv addict who canceled her cable but gives thanks to the sweet Lord above for Hulu and Netflix. I love to laugh, like to organize and despise cleaning the bathroom (so I married a man who does it for me!). I live a small, but significant life with my hubby of seven years who still makes me feel like the prettiest gal ever and flirts with me by saying things like “I hate to see you go, but I love to watch you leave.” Together we have two amazing, fun and incredibly exhausting little boys who challenge me in ways I never dreamed of but make me realize I don’t think I could have ever lived a life more full without them. We’re a pretty conventional family but are dipping our toes into the waters of urban homesteading as we experiment with gardening, chicken-keeping & possibly raising goats for milk (which if this happens, please stay tuned for the pictures of my husband learning how to milk a goat. It’s sure to be something), all while nestled inside the city limits of a growing community. Our neighbors surely think we are crazy.
But of all that I love in my life, I love Jesus Christ the most. Any good that I possess, any talent that I have has been gifted to me by my creator and to him let all the glory be given.
