I was putting the finishing touches on a card and wanted to do a 3-D embellishment, but it kept looking flat. I started cleaning up for the night and glanced over at the scraps and saw two spaces that were by the tab punch, side by side, and saw another way to use the punch. You see it? Right there in between the two.

It was hard to line them up without getting a good view of where to punch (I’m sure you could figure it out if you’re good at math, which sadly, I am not), so I took a piece of paper and pushed it all the way to the back of the punch.

I punched it, slid it over about an a half-inch to three-quarter-inches, made sure it was pushed up against the back of the punch, and punched again. And right there in between the two punches is another punch, perfect for tiny wording or numbers. You can leave the sides long

or clip them right up against the punch.

I layered mine on top of the label punch and really liked the way it turned out.
